The 2017-18 Ellsworth Community College softball team has received Honorable Mention Academic Team of the Year from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
This honor is awarded to teams that meet the minimum requirement of a team combined GPA of 3.0 or better. The Panthers had a combined GPA of 3.05.
"I am very proud of this team both on and off of the field," commented ECC Head Softball Coach Nate Forsyth. "I really appreciate their hard work and dedication in the classroom. This was a very special class."
