Five ECC Softball players earn All-Region honors

Ellsworth Community College Panther softball is proud to announce five players have received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Sydney Kramer (Donnellson, IA) was named to the 1st Team All-Region. Two Panthers received DII 2nd Team All Region: Kaylee Rynish (Bonduel, WI) and Lexi Riggall (Centerville, IA). Two Panthers received DII Honorable Mention: Abbie Young (Ackley, IA) and Samantha Mills (Lawrence, KS).

Kramer was awarded 1st Team All-Region Utility. She pitched 167.1 innings this season for the Panthers. She had 148 strikeouts including 10 wins and 2 saves. She also had 44 hits this season including 13 doubles, 7 homeruns and 33 RBIs.

Rynish was awarded 2nd Team Catcher. She had a .566 slugging percent, 44 hits for the year including 13 doubles, 4 homeruns and 12 RBIs. Riggall was 2nd Team Infield. She had 41 hits, 9 doubles, 2 homeruns and 20 RBIs. Young was awarded Honorable Mention Infield. She had 26 hits including 4 doubles, 3 triples and 10 RBIs. She also had 8 stolen bases. Mills was awarded Honorable Mention Utility. She had 34 hits for the season including 8 doubles, 2 homeruns and 20 RBIs.
