Bradi Yost signs with St. Cloud State

Ellsworth Community College softball player Bradi Yost has signed with St. Cloud State University in Minnesota to continue her softball and academic career.

St. Cloud State is part of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. They finished 5th in the conference last year with a 15-11 conference record and 32-23 overall record.

Yost is looking forward to her next step. "St. Cloud has a good softball program and team," she commented. "They had a really nice campus and I liked the coaches."

Yost has been a constant leader on the field during her time with the Panthers. She was a two-year starter and captain for ECC. She was also named 1st Team All-Region as a utility player her freshman year and 2nd Team outfielder her sophomore year. Yost also received Female Athlete of the Year honors from Ellsworth.

During her career as a Panther, Yost went 8-14 as a pitcher. Offensively she scored 70 runs, 89 hits, 21 doubles, 17 home runs, 51 RBI's, 16 walks and 31 HBP.

"Bradi is a very special player," commented ECC Head Softball Coach Nate Forsyth. "She led our team in the circle and also offensively over the past two years. I am extremely happy to see her continuing her softball career at a great university. Bradi will certainly be missed by all of the players and coaches and we wish her the best of luck."
