IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Northeast (Neb.) CC completed a season sweep of Ellsworth CC Wednesday night with a 72-63 win at Dittmer Gym. The Panthers trailed 39-27 at the halftime break, and could only cut the deficit to nine by the end of the final period.
Adam Jackson paced the ECC scoring with 19 points and he added seven rebounds and four assists. Josh Kamara joined Jackson in double figures with 14 and Chase Smith came off the bench to add 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting from behind the arc. Junior Bodden picked off six rebounds and Tony Alexander dished out four assists.
Ellsworth stays at home this weekend for a Saturday game against Iowa Western.
