Sharp shooting by Harris gives Panthers the win

Ellsworth Community College sophomore LJ Harris (Kankakee, IL) came out on Tuesday, Nov. 27 in the game against Quakerdale Prep Academy ready to win. Harris helped push the Panthers to a 94-66 victory with a career high 40 points.

The Panthers held the lead going into half 44-40 but outscored Quakerdale 50-22 in the second half to take the win.

Harris had 21 points in the first half and 19 points in the second half. Jamal Antoine (Houston, TX) also scored in double figures for the Panthers with 12 points followed by Larrion Heard (St. Louis, MO) and Keaton Taylor (Houston, TX) who each scored 11.

ECC will be on the road for their next game on Saturday, Dec. 1 with a tip off at 2 pm against Dakota County Technical College.
