Ellsworth Community College is proud to announce the award of Athlete of the Week to ECC men's basketball player Myzeah Batie-Gaddy of Iowa City. Batie-Gaddy garnered Athlete of the Week awards from both the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
During ECC's first week of regular play, Batie-Gaddy averaged 31 points per game and posted 24 rebounds in just three games. He leads the Panthers with 27.6 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game, and he's one of the nation's best at the free-throw line, shooting 32-35 so far this season. His 27.6 shooting average currently puts him at 2nd in the nation among DII NJCAA players.
The Panthers are currently 5-1 for the season.
