Malcolm Canada knew something wasn't right. One of the regulars came into his home, nervously made his drug purchase and quickly left. Canada, 12 years old, looked outside and saw people scurrying away. There were soon three loud knocks at the door. He looked to his father to see what was going on. "Open up!" the Austin, TX Police Department demanded. "APD!" In a flash, the door had been kicked down and police swarmed the room, weapons drawn. Malcolm mostly remembers the barrel of a shotgun inches from his face and his father being thrown down, face pinned to the floor.
