The Ellsworth Community College men's basketball team lost a big portion of their roster to graduation last spring with eight sophomores graduating and/or transferring. The team has brought in some talented young men to fill the open spots.
The incoming players include:

• Tony Johnson Jr., Cedar Falls High School
• Josh Bagley, transfer from NIACC via AGWSR, Ackley
• Trey Christopher, Green County High School, Georgia
• Lok Lok Thok, Southeast Lincoln High School, Nebraska
• Myzeah Batie, transfer from Kirkwood via Iowa City West High School
• Michael Evans, Davenport West High School
• Maurice Arrington, Cedar Rapids Washington High School
• Keeon Johnson, Cedar Falls High School
• Marcus Archer, transfer from Iowa Central
• Octavius O'Large Jr., Davenport West High School
The Panthers will begin their season with a couple of Jamborees in early October and will open at home on Tuesday, Nov. 17, against William Penn JV.
