The Ellsworth Community College men's basketball team will be holding a 3-point-a-thon fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 30. For every dollar that is donated, the team must make a 3-point basket. 

"We are setting a goal to raise $8,000 for the 2015-16 season," commented assistant Men's Basketball Coach Dain Swetalla. "This money will be used for apparel, training equipment, and quality meals on the team road trips."

The fundraiser will be held at Dittmer Gymnasium beginning at 1 pm, and the team will be there until they make the 3-pointers to cover the donations. The public is welcome to stop in and support the team from 1 to 4 pm. The public is welcome to shoot with the team, meet players, take photos, get autographs, and get to know the team that will be representing Ellsworth Community College men's basketball.
