Coach Kaleb Ringer joined the Ellsworth Community College Football coaching staff in Spring 2018 as the linebacker coach, assistant strength and conditioning coach, and equipment manager.

Prior to joining the ECC staff, Coach Ringer was the linebacker coach and then defensive coordinator for the New Jersey Junior College Warriors in Jackson, NJ.

Before starting his coaching career in 2017, Ringer played arena football for the West Michigan Ironmen under Head Coach Ty Lynk. He is a 2016 graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Under the leadership of Head Coach Trent Miles and Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter, Ringer was a part of the most improved run defense in the country in 2015. That same year he also participated in the first bowl game in program history, The Autonation Cure Bowl.

Ringer’s father is former ECC All American (1984) Kevin Ringer, who went on to play at the University of Iowa under Head Coach Hayden Fry.
