Cory McNeil was hired in 2018 as the Ellsworth Community College Special Teams Coordinator. He is originally from Carrollton, TX.

Coach McNeil attended Prestonwood Christian Academy (HS) in Plano, TX, winning the state championship his senior year (2010) under head coach Chris Cunningham. He then went to Cisco Junior College in Texas as a kicker before transferring to Henderson St. in Arkansas (D2) on scholarship. Coach McNeil transferred one last time to East Texas Baptist University (D3), where he finished up his last two seasons and was also a student coach while finishing up his degree under head Coaches Steve Sartain and Joshua Eargle; Eargle is now the Offensive Line Coach at Austin Peay University.

Upon graduation, Coach McNeil went home to coach at his middle school. Shortly after that season concluded, he played one season with the East Texas Punch, an indoor team that was a part of the NAIF.

McNeil then got into college coaching full time by being a Graduate Assistant at Tabor College in Kansas (NAIA), coaching Running Backs and Special Teams under the direction and leadership of Head Coach Michael Gardner. While at Tabor, he was a part of winning two conference championships in the KCAC, with a combined two-year record of 16-5. He coached two 1st Team All-Conference running backs, two 2nd Team All-Conference kickers, one 2nd Team All-Conference punter, a two-time 1st Team All-Conference punt returner, and one 1st Team All-Conference kick returner.

Coach McNeil and his wife, Rachel, are very grateful and pleased to be a part of the Iowa Falls community as well as this program.
