As students return to start 2018 spring term classes after their holiday break, they can expect some changes in the Ellsworth Community College Football coaching staff.

In mid-December, ECC Head Football Coach Jesse Montalto announced that he would be taking the head football coaching job at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Montalto also took with him assistant coaches Adam Dutcher, Turrell Foster and Don Jones.

ECC Assistant Coach Charles Alexander will be acting as Interim Head Coach for the Panthers, and Assistant Coaches Dymon Adams and Clayton Nalan remain on the ECC staff.

Interviews for the ECC Head Football Coach position are currently being conducted. Ellsworth Athletic Director Nate Forsyth says he is hoping to extend an offer this week.
