Lawson and Pierce were both walk-ons last season, but for the Fall 2018 season they have earned ECC Football Scholarships.

That dream came true for former Ellsworth Community College Panther Jaleel Scott on Saturday, April 28, when he was selected in the NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. Scott was selected in the 4th round of the draft at number 132.

    The Ellsworth Community College Panthers took a 3-8 regular season record into the 2017 Graphic Edge Bowl, and came away with a decisive 55-14 win over Northland Community and Technical College (9-2). Ellsworth continues to hold its NJCAA record of most bowl game wins in the nation.

    The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has announced 2017 Football season honors. Ten Ellsworth Community College football players have received ICCAC All-Conference recognition and 19 are named All-Region players.
  • 2017 Graphic Edge Bowl Pairings Announced

    The Graphic Edge Bowl announced its match ups on Tuesday afternoon. The annual event, which is entering its 40th anniversary, began in 1978 when Coffeyville (Kan.) defeated Iowa Central, 35-13. This year's event will showcase, two games the Opening Game and the Feature Game.

Drew Greenhaw (Muscatine, IA) was named Offensive Athlete of the Week, Keonte Schad (Madison, WI) earned Defensive Athlete of the Week and Naeem Smith (Iowa City, IA) received Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

Ben Rooney (Donnellson, IA) was named Offensive Athlete of the Week and Jack Lemke (Fulton, IL) earned Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
