The Ellsworth Community College football team was awarded the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Football Athlete of the Week.

The Panthers showed up strong in their game against Butler Community College on November 8. Even though the Panthers took the loss 28-40, they kept Butler close at 28-34 until a last minute touchdown for the loss.

ECC had a heavy running game with 60 rushing attempts as a team. The Panthers rushed for 332 yards and 3 touchdowns. Xavier Washpun led the team with 112 yards on 16 carries. Quarterback Demarius Davis went 97 yards and a score. Zaybreion Gunter carried the ball 22 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
