Ten members of the Ellsworth Community College football team volunteered to read to students at Pineview Elementary School in Iowa Falls last week.
"Our guys were just as excited to read to the grade school children as the kids were to have the ECC football players in their room!" says Head Coach Josh Lattimer. "The players did a great job interacting with the kids … we are looking forward to doing more community involvement activities like this in the future."
The Panther football players who read to the Pineview students included Jon Henry Tolbert of Norcross, GA; Oscar Ross of Conley, GA; Tyler Chaudoin of Genera, FL; Devante Averette of Melvindale, MI; Irving Steele of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Caleb Ciavarelli of Clarksville, IA; Willie Youngblood of Vacherie, LA; Trent Simpson of Des Moines, Otis Brown of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Trey Gilbert of Winnfield, GA.
