Ellsworth Community College Panther baseball is proud to announce four players have received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Two Panthers received DII 2nd Team All Region: Greg Anderberg (Ankeny, IA) and Nolan Friedrichs (Edina, MN). Two Panthers received DII Honorable Mention: Trevor Smisek (New Prague, MN) and Sebastian Holte-Mancera (Woodbury, MN).
Anderberg was awarded 2nd Team Catcher. He had 45 hits this season including 11 doubles and 24 RBIs. He had a .313 batting average. Friedrichs was awarded 2nd Team Outfield. He had 55 hits including 11 doubles, 16 homeruns and 32 RBIs. He had a .327 batting average.
Smisek was awarded Honorable Mention Pitcher. He pitched 51.2 innings this season with 3 wins. He had 53 strikeouts. Holte-Mancera was awarded Honorable Mention Outfield. He had 73 hits this season including 22 doubles, 2 triples, 7 homeruns and 51 RBIs. His batting average was .384.
