"Our staff couldn't be more proud of these guys for their commitments to four-year institutions," says ECC Head Baseball Coach Travis Akre. "All 12 of these student-athletes have received a baseball scholarship. They have earned this, and I couldn't be happier for them."

The Panthers were also honored with four players being recognized by the NJCAA for their achievements in the classroom. Jase Grant, Max Gavin and Prado received Exemplary Academic Achievement Awards, and Lopez receive a Superior Academic Achievement Award. All four are transferring to four-year colleges.

"This group of guys represents our first recruiting class as a staff here at Ellsworth, which is very rewarding," said Coach Akre. "My staff and I wish them continued success and are looking forward to following their upcoming seasons."
