Ellsworth Community College Panther 2nd baseman and short stop Robert Colon has committed to transfer to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Colon is a native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Colon is in his second year at ECC. This season he has had 49 at bats. He had 11 hits with two of those being doubles. He has a batting average of .224. Colon also has a fielding average of .889.
"I'm very happy that Robert found a program that fits him," commented Head ECC Baseball Coach Travis Akre. "His passion for the game will make him successful at UAPB!"
