Iowa Falls, Iowa -- A total of 84 Ellsworth Community College student-athletes distinguished themselves academically during the fall semester and they have been rewarded for their work by being named to the Fall Academic All-Region list announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. The total includes 46 student-athletes who were on the first team with grade point averages of 3.5 and higher, and 38 who made the second team with GPAs of 3.0 to 3.49.
Eight different Panther sports are represented on the academic teams with baseball having the most honorees (27), followed by football (20), softball (12), volleyball (8), men's and women's basketball (6 each), wrestling (3) and sport shooting (2).
