ECC cheerleading squad signs two area students

Two area high school students have signed letters of commitment with the Ellsworth Community College cheerleading squad to cheer for the Panthers.

Jasmen McGlumphy-Hauser, a senior from Aplington-Parkersburg High School, has been cheering all throughout high school with the Falcons. ECC Head Cheer Coach Natalie Mosch commented, "We are really excited to have Jasmen commit to our cheer program. She has great stunting skills, and a very dedicated mindset." McGlumphy plans to major in Nursing at ECC.

Stephanie Tedder, also a senior, cheers for football and the competition team at Hampton-Dumont. "Stephanie is a great flyer when it comes to stunting, and I am so grateful we have her committed to our program," said Coach Mosch. "She is a coachable, hard working cheerleader and that is exactly what I look for in my program." Tedder also plans to take nursing classes at ECC.

The Panther Cheerleading squad will perform on Saturday, Jan. 28, at an Iowa Energy Basketball Game in Des Moines at 7 pm. The Panther Cheer squad can also be seen in action at the ECC basketball games.
